D.I.L. Quality Control Materials
While gluten and allergen detection methods have developed significantly since their introduction in the late 1980s the availability of Reference Materials, Assay Calibrators and even Quality Control (QC) materials for the monitoring of day to day assay variation, has been poor or even totally lacking. D.I.L. is seeking to address this need by developing a range of QC materials designed for use with assays from different manufacturers.
Two different Assayed QC Sets (GLUTEN) are now available:
FGEKIT8 HAVen Gluten Assayed QC Set 1 (Biscuit) containing:
2 x 4g pots of Gluten Free shortbread biscuit crumbs
2 x 4g pots of Borderline Positive chocolate biscuit crumbs
FGEKIT9 HAVen Gluten Assayed QC Set 2 (Bread) containing:
2 x 4g pots of Gluten Free bread crumbs
2 x 4g pots of Positive level bread crumbs
Combined Gluten/Allergen QC set (Bread)
We have prepared and are currently testing a breadcrumb preparation with and without low PPM levels of almond, gluten, milk (casein & BLG), lupin flour and peanut residues. This QC set, comprising 3 x 6g pots of LOW bread crumbs and 3 x 6g pots of the allergen/gluten containing materialis now available later.
