Calibration of Gluten Assay
The EC Institute for Reference Materials & Methods (IRMM) recently announced that production of a European Gliadin Reference Material developed in conjunction with the Prolamine Working Group has been abandoned.
Had this product become available it held out the prospect of more consistent calibration of Gluten testing methods such as commercial test kits; clearly now this will not be the case.
